Located at the foot of Lion’s Head in Fresnaye, House Sealion was conceived as a home for entertaining.
The design responds to the site by making both mountain and ocean a constant part of the experience, rather than allowing the architecture to favour one outlook over the other.
The home creates a sequence of generous social spaces suited to both intimate occasions and larger gatherings.
As people move through it, changing perspectives reveal the surrounding landscape in different ways, transforming the dramatic Cape Town setting into an active part of life within the house.
